The design of the exhibition is based on the sports world of the time (1911). We were able to extract typography and composition

of the newspaper and give it a contemporary touch to represent the exhibition. The images are an important part of the composition, since we find them in the newspaper purely and also in the background. These background images have been treated to give that monochromatic and weathered touch.

The exhibition a double chronicle where we will discover, on the one hand, what was the 1st edition of the Volta Catalunya held in 1911, which makes it one of the oldest cycling rounds that are still contested. On the other hand, a story that introduces us to the feat of journalist Gabriel Pernau who, in 2001, emulated the pioneers of Catalan cycling by riding the same route as the 1st edition on a vintage bicycle.
